Recording the new album

hey guys and girls,

as always in the last months, it took a while since the last news update. but right now we have many and really great news. the last year has been very difficult and challenging for us. as you all know, our drummer girl Beate left us last year in summer. and changes in the line-up are always a delicate matter. but we were really lucky and found very fast a proper replacement with Vid.

the first few months we spent mainly in the rehearsal room, doing the old songs and getting used to each other. let´s just say, it worked out very well, and in April 2009 we returned back on stage for the first time with our new drummer. it felt really fantastic.

but, all of this caused a great delay in our plans for the next CD. actually, we already have started writing new songs in the beginning of 2008 and planned to record it winter 2008 and release it in spring 2009. In fact, we continued the writing process in winter 2009.

and now, after doing an extensive and time-consuming preproduction at home, and changing the songs at least thousand times, the time has come. we have written 14 songs, including a new version of NOX, with an overall playing time of nearly an hour. we already have entered Hinterhof Studios in Vienna and are currently recording and producing the successor or WONDERLAND with Norbert Leitner (ex lords of decadence).

we think that the new songs are the fastest and heaviest pieces we have ever written, but also the most melodic. and as always, we mixed up many different styles.
